Service year don end oooooo!

The day has finally come! October 16, 2014. The Batch C 2013/2014 Corp Members are finally good to go!!!!! I can imagine the excitement, the euphoria, the fresh undiluted feeling of being free! Free at last. Finally you can travel as you like without writing a letter of permission. Finally the Khaki is pulled off! No more Jungle boots! From CDS to Board Meetings! From Khaki to Suits! From Allowee to Salary! The joy of one day has finally washed aways the pains of yesterday! Hmmmm, I smell freedom!

Now you have obeyed the clarion call. You have weathered the sun and the rain to be where you are today.  Today marks the beginning of greatness. I know you see a bright future ahead, I understand that so many plans have been made. Structures are already in place and some of you practically saved all through the service year in order to establish a business after service is over.

I equally understand that Nigeria doesn't have enough jobs to engage our teeming graduates and the right Iinfrastructures and policies are not in place to be an entrepreneur but you must not allow these factors deter you from being happy. Be diligent with what  you have and make the best use of your resources...Dare to be among the fittest that would survive in this race of life.

My heartfelt prayers for you......
May your territory be enlarged,
May you receive favour on all sides,
May God open your eyes to see opportunities that abound,
May God give you divine direction,
May your days be long,
May God open doors for you that no man can shut,
May God connect you with destiny helpers,
May you never miss it in life,
May God keep you in good health, body, soul, spirit,
May you never marry the wrong person,
May you never be stagnant or frustrated.
We are the Nigeria we desire to see. Let's live right, be patriotic, obey God and one another. Once again, I congratulate the Batch C in the house!

THE RHYTHM WITHIN (part 2)

2. FIND YOUR RHYTHM:
When I say rhythm in this context, I mean PURPOSE. What is your purpose? Have you found it? Do you know it? How are you harnessing it? One of the reasons why people engage in depression and some commit suicide in my opinion, is because they don't know their rhythm. If you know your purpose, you would believe in it and even when things are not working out, the passion in the purpose will keep you going! Whatever gives you joy and satisfaction is your purpose as long as it is pleasing to God. For me, imparting lives and enlightening people is my purpose, writing is the bedrock of my purpose upon which every other thing is built upon. Take time to know yourself and find your purpose and you would be happy you did!

3. LISTEN TO YOUR OWN RHYTHM:
When you finally know your rhythm, listen to it. Be focused, don't be distracted. Always remember that everyone has a different rhythm, unique to his personality and destiny because everyone is going into the music industry does not mean that you should tag along. There is a KING in you,  there is a SUN unique to you, there is a STAR that no one can outshine, just let it shine and see the huge difference that you would make. The world needs your rhythm! Don't leave this world without being heard! Don't try to be anyone else, just be yourself. Let your rhythm speak for you.

4.ALL SOUNDS FORM A HARMONIOUS WHOLE:
When you see someone fulfilling purpose,  don't feel jealous instead, be happy for the person because he is only playing his own instrument.  Life is not a competition! The only person you are in a competition with is yourself.There is no point having monopoly over everything and preventing others from succeeding. The sky is big enough to contain everybody's greatness.Let him shine! His light would give you warmth Preventing others from shining is tantamount to you shooting yourself in the leg. Be good to others, help them when in need. Life is a journey, the people you help on your way to success are often times those that help you when you least expect it, when you are tired and weary.

In conclusion, the earnest expectation of the creature awaits the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19). Thanks for letting me play this words in your heart! I hope to hear you play someday! Let's form a harmonious whole together! #fulfillingpurpose#impartingdestinies!

THE RHYTHM WITHIN

I am a member of Theatre and Tourism Community Development Service, Abia State (NYSC) and some days ago, I learnt something very important.  I am part of those playing the traditional instruments needed for the dancers to dance. Every player had a different rhythm but the same tempo. You must play like never before. While some beat their instruments in three quick successions, mine was just a periodic thud (I was playing the traditional pot) I couldn't afford to go higher than my pace neither could I afford to go lower, I had to maintain my pace, the energy level had to be consistent and every sound produced from all the instruments must form a harmonious whole. The scenario above, inspired me to write this article and this is exactly where I am going to:

We have a big challenge and that is the fact that we try to be like every other person asides that which God has created us to be! Some of us want to be lawyers not because we have the capacity to become one but because our uncle is a lawyer and he is making money from it but we fail to remember that he is only playing his rhythm why don't you play yours?

1. GOD HAS A RHYTHM FOR YOUR LIFE:
The fact that your neighbour is seriously hitting life in three quick successions does not mean that you must do the same. God has a rhythm for your life and He has already orchestrated the perfect timing for every thing to happen in your life. Like the instrument I was playing,  sometimes our lives is just a periodic thud, no stress, no pain, all gain! The fact that your neighbour got a high-paying job doesn't mean you are a failure, rather it means that you have to increase your energy level, be the best at what you do and the best would come to you. Life is just a function of timing, don't lose your rhythm! God has a rhythm for your life, go at His own pace,the blessings of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrows (Proverbs 10:22) going ahead of God would only give you temporary riches and satisfaction and of course long lasting troubles!
