TRIBUTE TO PASTOR MYLES MUNROE (20 April 1954- 9 November 2014)

Myles Munroe talked largely on potential and purpose. Having discovered my potentials, I am therefore going to use it as a tool to immortalise a man who was nothing less than a rare gem. DISCOVERING YOUR PERSONAL LEADERSHIP GIFT. “What is the wealthiest spot on planet earth?" He asked. "Is it the oil fields of Nigeria, Iraq... Saudi Arabia?" "What is the wealthiest spot on earth?" He asked again, "is it the diamonds mines of South Africa… or the gold mines of Ghana...is it the massive sea food deposits in the Caribbean ocean where I come from?"...  Finally he gave the answer by saying thus; "The wealthiest spot on earth is the cementary.…because in the grave yard, there were books that were never written, music that was never played, visions that never became reality. The cementary is filled with businesses that were never opened, poetry that was never read...the grave yard is filled with dreams that died as nightmares…”

"My passion is simple, my simple goal in life is to help everyone I meet to die empty.” I know we are all saddened by his sudden death and I clearly cannot give you answers as to why he died when he did, but what I can say is this; Myles Munroe has given us a legacy. He has finished his course, he has enlightened millions of people. He is what I would call a great man! He has passed the touch unto us...don't let it die! His vision is simple, completely elimilate the wealth found in the cementary. Make your life count! "You have no right to die until you are finished (empty)" -Myles Munroe. You are marked for excellence therefore dare to MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

As you ruminate over his life and impart remember that even the greatest man on earth (Jesus Christ) died with just three words on his lips..."IT IS FINISHED"...Dare to run your race, dare to finish your course that you may say, MY ASSIGNMENT IS FINISHED.
I CELEBRATE YOU MYLES MUNROE, I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE LIFE YOU HAVE LIVED AND THE IMPACT YOU HAVE MADE! Rest In Peace Myles Munroe and every other person that died in the crash
I am consoled by your words which says,"you  don’t need to be old to die empty... never judge life by your age in years, judge life by the deposits you made in within the years you lived". Even in your death, I celebrate you!

  1. I agree with him. The most important thing is not how long you lived but how well you did. He has left his mark on the sands of Time. I pray we all will be able to do same. May the souls of those who lost their lives in that flight rest peacefully.
